For the past 8 years, we have had a MeadWestVaco (MWV) Safety, Health & Environment Laboratory located right here at the Mound. Then, this past January, it was announced that MWV would be merging with the Rock Tenn Corporation to form WestRock, the world’s second largest packaging company.
After careful consideration, West Rock determined that the Mound is still primed to meet their needs. With the merger finalized in early July, the laboratory is currently preparing to provide service and support to a much larger and more diverse company.
