Mound Business Park has come a long way in the last 70 years.
Established in the 1940s, the Miamisburg site had once served as one of the country’s top research laboratories for the U.S. Department of Energy. It housed the Mound Laboratory, a production facility responsible for the research and development of nuclear weapons, energy and space programs. The 306-acre property was home to 2,500 employees and 116 separate buildings, making it the largest employer in the city.
