A grant to help a $7 million expansion that will keep 160 jobs and add 45 new ones at Mound Business Park is expected to be accepted tonight. Montgomery County has approved a $175,000 city of Miamisburg request for more space for Excelitas Technologies at its site at 1100 Vanguard Drive.
The county EDGE grant is a part of a deal by which Excelitas will expand, creating jobs with the help of a 15-year tax abatement from the city and a $7.1 million investment by the Mound Development Corporation, city records show.
