The City owns two public golf courses. PipeStone, located at 4344 Benner Road, is a premier 18-hole championship course designed by world renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills. Opened in 1992, PipeStone has developed an outstanding reputation within the golfing community as a challenging and attractive course that is maintained in peak condition. Its beautiful clubhouse features a full-service restaurant that is available for banquets and a fully stocked pro shop. The course is located adjacent to the upscale PipeStone residential community.
Mound is a charming nine-hole course adjacent to the famous Indian Mound landmark and enjoys a scenic location overlooking the City at 757 Mound Avenue. A new clubhouse was completed at Mound in 1995 that features a fully stocked pro shop and a full-service restaurant known for its renowned half-pound cheeseburgers.
